2. Hosting and server log data

This website runs on a Kubernetes cluster. When you visit our pages, technically necessary server log data is generated, in particular:

  • your IP address
  • the date and time of access
  • the page or URL accessed
  • the volume of data transferred
  • your browser and operating system
  • the page you visited previously, where applicable (referrer)
  • server status and error messages

We process this data in order to operate the website securely and reliably (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Log data is kept only for as long as operation, security and error analysis require, and is then deleted or anonymised.

3. Getting in touch

If you contact us by email or telephone, we process the details you give us (for example your name, email address, telephone number and the content of your message) in order to deal with your enquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR for pre-contractual or contractual communication, and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR for general communication. We keep enquiries for as long as we need them to respond and for as long as any statutory retention obligations apply.

There is no contact form on this website.

4. Cookies and consent management

This website uses no analytics, marketing or other non-essential cookies, so there is no cookie banner. At present, no technically necessary cookies are set either.

5. Embedded services

Our fonts (Source Sans 3 and Crimson Pro) are served from our own servers. We embed no external font, analytics, video, map or social media services. Where social media profiles exist, we only link to them.

6. Data transfers and third countries

We do not transfer personal data to third countries outside the EU or the EEA in the course of running this website, unless doing so is technically necessary in order to answer a particular enquiry.

7. How long we keep your data

We keep personal data only for as long as it is needed for the purposes described above, or for as long as statutory retention periods require. After that it is deleted or anonymised.

8. Your rights

You have the following rights in particular:

  • the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR)
  • the right to rectification (Art. 16 GDPR)
  • the right to erasure (Art. 17 GDPR)
